Want to make your own facial cleanser? Here's how. Combine seven ounces (or so) of plain yogurt with one tablespoon of lemon juice and one tablespoon of honey. You'll want to mix the ingredients well. Then use it on your face like you would a facial wash or cleanser. Apply it on your whole face, avoiding the eyes. Leave it on for a few minutes then wipe it all off with a soft wash cloth. Once you've wiped off the cleanser, use cool water to rinse your face off the rest of the way and then pat it dry.

Basil and water make for a great homemade acne tonic. Boil water and then steep a few teaspoons of dried basil leaves in it. Make sure you let the basil steep for no more than 20 minutes. Strain out the basil leaves once the water has cooled enough. Get an air tight container and place the tonic in there. To start using the tonic, wash your face with lukewarm water. Soak a white cotton ball in the tonic and apply it to the problem areas of your skin. Don't wash off the tonic. Allow your skin to absorb the tonic and you'll see reduced swelling and redness.

Follow it up by blending plain yogurt and milk and then applying the mixture all over your face. This will help to nourish and soften the skin on your face after the salt scrub. Gently rinse your face with cool water.

Take milk and honey and mix them. Gently apply the milk/honey mixture on your while face. Use cool water to rinse it off your face after a few minutes. Milk and honey are gentle on your skin and they'll moisturize your skin as well as nourish it.
